Abstract

Significant period in India's socio-economic landscape, as women
increasingly entered the workforce. This paper examines the challenges encountered by
working women in India during this time, shedding light on the socio-cultural, economic,
and structural barriers that hindered their professional progress. Through an exploration
of key issues, case studies, and policy implications, the paper aims to provide insights
into the complex challenges faced by working women and the efforts to address them.
